TLDR version: they made a mistake and I was one that had to pay for it Long version: while doing my intake, there was a question about if I had taken a specific medication in the previous six months. I informed the person doing my intake that I had been on that medication up until one month prior and asked if this was an absolute contraindication. She assured me it was fine so long as I didn't take the medication within three days of my treatment. I prepaid $2400 for ten sessions. I did my first laser hair removal session no problem. Then a week later I get a voicemail and email informing me that they wouldn't do another session for 5 months because of the medication I had been taking. I was annoyed but mistakes happen, oh well. I asked for a refund for the value of my remaining nine sessions. I'm told that rather than being charged $240 for the one session, they're going to charge me $400 for it and refund me $2000. More annoyed now but whatever. Life goes on. It took two weeks to get my refund and when I did get it, they only refunded me $1800. They charged me $600 for one single session that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Sent them another email politely telling them how displeased I was and never got a response. Contacted another reputable company and found out they only charge $285 to treat the same area and that's if you're paying for every session individually, not a discounted package deal. I will not be doing business with this company again and I encourage you not to either. Shop around and you will find much better deals elsewhere.

• If I have paid the price quoted using a credit program, I acknowledge that I have selected the credit program based on my own evaluation of my options. • I clearly understand that my payment is for the procedure(s) performed during the term of the agreement and not for any specific result. NO RESULT IS GUARANTEED. I understand that results will vary.
• Additional treatments may be obtained at an additional price.

Refund, Cancellation and Transfer Credit policy
THIS POLICY WILL BE VOIDED IF YOU TRANSFER SERVICES TO ANOTHER LOCATION
AND WILL BE REPLACED BY THE RECEIVING CLINIC’S CURRENT POLICY
Your payment is based on purchasing number of treatments. Refund is based on unused treatments not based on unused time.
e.g. Laser Hair Removal Series – Your payment is based on purchasing 6 treatments. NOT 2 yrs. In the 2 yr appearance plan phase (after your 6th treatment), we reserve the right when to treat you and how many times to treat you. If you receive 6 treatments, no refund is due. All refund prorating will be based on unused treatments. There is no prorating for time. e.g. If you purchased a package of 6 and received only 4 treatments in 8 months and request a refund. You have 2 unused treatments and 16 months left before your 2 yr appearance plan expires. A prorated refund (see below) will be given for 2 unused treatments, NOT based on remaining 16 months.

If you want to cancel services and want refund –
You WILL BE charged FULL PRICE PER TREATMENT of the procedure. The price per treatment of the procedure you purchased is on our price list sheet and will be provided to you on request. All discounts (e.g. monthly specials) and credits issued when you bought the service will be lost. Service will be prorated using price per treatment listed on the price list sheet. If you earned friends and family credit – this will be LOST if you cancel/break this agreement. A prorated balance will be refunded

If you want to cancel services and don’t want a refund but want to transfer credit to another package
You will NOT be charged FULL PRICE per treatment of the procedure to calculate prorated balance. You will be charged the price per treatment based on your package. The balance will be used towards a new package. You will be eligible for the month’s special etc. If this results in you owing money, you can pay the difference and start the new package. If this results in us owing you money, this will be kept as credit for future use. (Credit expires 90 days from new purchase).

If you don’t see results even after 2 yrs of treatments for Laser Hair Removal – NO REFUND is due. You can buy a new package at 2 yr appearance plan (maintenance) price.

If you are burned or have other adverse event – NO REFUND is due. This is part of the risk of the procedure and was explained to you when you signed the contract. Our goal is to eliminate/minimize the risk of burn or any other adverse event, but we want to be upfront with you so you can make a well informed educated decision.

Other Fees –
No Show Fee – ​$75. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment
Cancellation Fee -​$75. If you cancel appointment without giving us a 24hr notice
Shaving Fee -​$75. If you come in without shaving (exception – first treatment ​​or unless we asked you not to shave)
Photocopying Fee -​$10. For a copy of your records. Need a written request.

Update 12/2020- Company continues to give excuses and will not refund. I have continuously asked for agreements I signed with the company and they will not share. STAY AWAY from this business; their model is very tempting when you have consultations but the customer service portion majorly lacks in ethics, professionalism and integrity.*************************************************************************If I could give this 0 stars I would. If you ask for a refund, prepare to be rained in trained jargon that reduces your refund by 60%. 30 calls, 3 months, 3 emails LATER, I still dont have a resolution and this company will not respond. I wish I had paid attention to all the negative reviews and not signed up in a glamorous promise of the services they provide.I have spoken to Lisa and Karina and this place will not HONOR their statements or reach out besides continuously blasting you with fine print jargon that you are NOT made aware of during sign-up. Terms & Conditions
Set out below are some of the terms on which Premier Laser & Skin provides service to its clients. Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them prior to booking any treatment.
REFUND POLICY
Premier laser do not offer refunds for treatment received or products used, however if you change your mind within 14 days of purchase if no sessions have been redeemed you are entitled to a refund. If for any medical reason you are advised not to continue with your course of treatments, please obtain a medical report from your doctor. If you have used any sessions then this will be deducted from your refund value as a pay as you go cost. I understand that Premier Laser Clinic cannot be held responsible for any unknown side effects which may occur as a result of having laser treatments.

If you wish to amend your package or request a refund Premier Laser and Skin clinics can help to assist within the first 14 days of purchase.

COVID update on refunds

Any refund requests will need to be notified to the clinic within the first 14 days of purchasing. 

Due to the pandemic over the last year Premier Laser and Skin are not able to refund for anyone who is relocating. We are able to transfer your remaining package to a friend or family member.

We are not able to issue any refund for finance taken from Omniport. (Unless within the cooling off period of 14 days). 

Refunds are only able to be issued on the basis of a medical condition with a doctor’s document provided – we do not class pregnancy as a medical condition.

We will only be able to issue a refund on long term medical conditions, as all our packages do not have an expiry date so you are able to use this at any time in the future.

Please contact your assigned clinic for a refund request – your refund will be acknowledged within 72 hours and will only be issued once we have receipt of the Medical document once this has been confirmed by a member of our team. 

Premier laser and skin will do our utmost to assist and help you within your journey going forward. 
CANCELLATION POLICY
A session will be redeemed or a charge will be applicable for clients who do not provide 48 hours’ notice. Depending on whether you are on a course of treatments or purchasing a single session:

  • If you give at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation no penalty will be incurred
  • If you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment or do not show up for your booked appointment, then you will lose that session

MEDICAL AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
Please notify us before booking your treatments if you have high blood pressure, special physical concerns, diabetes, are you are pregnant, or have a history of skin pigmentation.
PAYMENT POLICY
Correct payment must be received before treatments start at each booked appointment. This is generally in full or can be via our finance option. If you refuse to pay in advance, we have the right to refuse to treat you. Instalments must be paid at correct intervals as agreed by the clinic. If undertaking our finance option, a deposit of 20% must be taken prior to commencement of treatment.
PRACTITIONERS
While we will make every effort to meet your request, we cannot guarantee a specific practitioner, or a practitioner of a specific gender. All practitioners are trained in all undertaken treatments and protocols to ensure your comfort and treatment efficacy at all times.
MAKE UP
Please be advised make-up, deodorant, perfume, and oil-based products must be removed prior to treatments. Practitioners will cleanse the area, however we cannot be held responsible for any visual product that may lay dormant in the skin pores which can cause an adverse reaction.
LIABILITY POLICY
Premier Laser & Skin will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client. Your statutory will be protected. 
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he/she provide us with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. We will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.
The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, Premier Laser & Skin regarding the care of a treated area.
COMPLAINT POLICY
We aim to provide the best possible service and care to you when delivering a consultation or treatment.
In the event that you are unhappy with any aspect of the service provided, you should speak to the appropriate clinic manager or their designated deputy as soon as possible.

"HORRENDOUS SERVICE! If i could give ZERO stars, I WOULD!"

HORRENDOUS! If i could give ZERO stars, I WOULD! I do not feel comfortable or safe to have anyone at Laser Away Spa touch my body! I have been going back and forth about this issue with the lender ( Enhance Patient Finance), the bill collector (Universal Account Services) and Laser Away Medical Group (whom I have had the poorest communication with!) SINCE MARCH! The fact that I have to communicate between 3 separate parties is RIDICULOUS! The staff at Laser Away Spa certainly do not tell you that your account would be split into three different places and that communication would be this difficult. I truly hope that this review helps someone to seek med spa services with another, more legitimate business that is not at all deceitful or miscreant in the way that Laser Away Medical Group has been. I am currently being billed by Laser Away Spa for a $5,000 loan. I did not agree to borrow $5,000 for services from Laser Away Spa and was misinformed about the cost of services in combination with a promotional store credit. This is fraudulent and deceptive medical practice. I also should not be responsible for making payments toward services that I was unable to receive due to Covid-19. With the onset of the pandemic, I have lost my job and am in no position to make payments toward services that I have yet to receive from Laser Away Spa. As of today, many businesses in the Los Angeles area that have reopened have begun to close again due to the recent surge in Covid-19 cases. Additionally, I was informed that Laser Away Spa in Downtown Los Angeles has once again begun postponing certain services until further notice. With the unpredictability of services being provided due to Covid-19, risk of exposure to Covid-19, along with the poor communication I have received from staff at Laser Away Spa, I do not feel safe to receive any services from Laser Away Spa and would not trust anyone working with Laser Away Medical Group anywhere near body. I am seeking that the payment contract with Laser Away Medical Group be nullified, refunded and an apology and have filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and the Medical Board of California. Here's a timeline of my most significant communication between the lender, bill collector and Laser Away Medical Group: 3/31/2020- Called Universal Account Services. Spoke with Vanessa. I was told that my future billing due date may be changed if payment is made current. Was told that I would have to speak to Laser Away Spa when they reopen to discuss cancellation options. 4/20/2020- Called Universal Account Services. Spoke with Zayani. Applied for Covid-19 relief, which defers payments until Laser Away Spa reopens for business on 5/15/2020. 4/21/2020- Called Enhance Patient Finance. Spoke with Kailyn about account refund/cancellation. I was informed that a case for cancellation was made but that I would have to wait until Laser Away Spa reopens on 5/15/2020 in order for the cancellation to be processed by laser away staff member. 4/21/2020- Called Laser Away Spa customer service line. Spoke with an unnamed customer service representative. Explained that I lost my job due to Covid-19, did not receive entirety services and that case for cancellation was made by Enhance Patient Finance. I was told that cancellations would not be processed until the spa reopens on 5/15/2020. I then asked if there was a supervisor that I could speak with and was told that I would receive a call from a woman named Barbara Albert or a woman named Taylor Torres. I did not receive a call from either person. 5/15/2020- Called Laser Away Spa customer service line. Spoke with an unnamed representative. Was informed that spas will not be reopening until 6/15/2020. 6/18/2020- Called Laser Away Spa in Downtown Los Angeles. Spoke with an unnamed customer service representative. Explained current situation, requesting follow up on case cancellation request and that I have been given the runaround from Laser Away Spa staff. I was told that the spa had been opened since Monday 6/15/2020 and that I could have called sooner to follow up if it was that important. This response was irrelevant and incredibly rude. I reiterated the fact that I was told I would receive a follow up call from Barbara Albert or Taylor Torres and still did not hear from either person. I was told that neither Barbara Albert nor Taylor Torres handle issues related to case cancellation requests. The customer service representative hung up abruptly and ended the call. ... there is so much more to this story but I can't fit it all. As of this moment I have filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau (with whom they are NOT accredited) and the Medical Board of California (whose laws they are governed by.) My next step is to take this to the media.You should do the same!

Very friendly staff, but the do not communicate right, they made several mistakes with me since the very first session, they apologized but they didn't resolve the issue... they charged me two extra sessions when I did not request them or go to them, I called them about it, they would not refund the money...

"It’s bait & switch. Beware."

This is not a review of the staff or office. They were all great. It is quite clear though that what they are doing is selling Groupons and only doing the bare minimum laser work so you have to come back in over and over. I bought the tattoo removal Groupon for three treatments, which should be plenty for the simple tattoo I’m wanting removed. The woman on the phone told me it would likely take 10. I laughed because I have had two tattoos removed by laser and know what to expect. The first treatment did absolutely nothing and took less than 20 seconds. They’re clearly scamming people out of money by not actually doing the work. Find someone else to do your laser work. They’re ripping people off.

"I wish I could leave zero stars"

I wish I could leave zero stars. I purchased a groupon for tattoo removal. and was told when I went in for my "consult" that I would need at least 12 treatments and my groupon only covered three. I was very much pressured into buying more sessions and after negotiating like buying a vehicle back and forth let me call my manager we can't do that blah blah blah. They agreed to do the additional treatments for 1K. I asked if I could use the three sessions that I paid about $300 for on groupon first but was told if I didn't purchase that day I would not be able to get that deal again. Hesitantly I agreed and asked about refunds and was assured that if I was not satisfied I would be refunded my money. After four treatments I saw ZERO results and inquired about cancelling and refunding my money and was informed since I had used four sessions and my groupon only covered three the fourth session would be $749 and my refund would be $251. I explained I was told something different and also asked for a copy of the digital paperwork they had me sign and their refund policy explaining this. I have not received any such paperwork and was told on 9/2 they would issue my $251 and haven't received that yet either. I have asked for documentation multiple times and they have failed to provide any so I am filing a claim with the small claims court which is $37 and disputing the charge with care credit. They have provided no evidence to back up their refund policy and lied to me in order to up sale me services. So for the principal I will spend the money to fight them in court because they are selling worthless services and won't provide any documentation to back up what they are stating. My attorney says if they don't have the paperwork it's a pretty clear case. It's just ridiculous to have to go to this level to get people to be honest and do the right thing.. I wouldn't waste your time or money with this company. Total scam, lies and bullies. Am posting reviews everywhere I can so that others don't make the same mistake and have filed a grievance with groupon/living social as well. I see lots of comments about other people that were taken advantage of as well so maybe its a class action kind of situation. Some will disagree and that is ok. This was my experience and judging by reviews which I wish I had read before purchasing a lot of others have had the same issue. Such a scam of a company!

"NO results and NO service place!"

Got NO results after treatment and very bad customer service level at LaserAway. They will pressurize you to pay and then do not care about the results. My hair reduction treatment started late 2018 and ended in July 2020 with least to no results. I got no response even after complaining at LaserAway store in person. Even after calling and complaining about results I have received an email and I replied for asking redund and then it is already more than 3 weeks I am still waiting for response. Complete waste of money and time, not worthy even to try.

"REFUSE TO CALL ME BACK!!!"

I recently got one of the packages fro laser away through ally lending and I decided I don't want to go through with it anymore because I was impacted by COVID-19. Ive been trying to get ahold of Sara for the last week and a half and I have received no calls back about anything. Every time I call the Brea location (where Sara signed me up at) they always come up with an excuse and say she will call you later. Its literally been a week in a half and I don't want to end up making any payments towards it but obviously by the way they just ignore their customer I have to.

Have never used the product or service as I have been inundated with text messages and phone calls ever since I signed up to get more info online. They change their number and use several people to call and text you to harass you in to coming in for a free consultation...why would anyone want to use a service from the Buckle of dermatology?!?

Please do not fall for the fake credit application link they send to you. You will not receive a copy. It is ILLEGAL to offer loans over the phone. Do not become a victim of identity theft. Cancellation Policy  & Refund Information

Cancellation or No Show policy for all patients:
Please note there is a $45 fee or forfeiture of one pre paid treatment for any no show/cancellations within 24 hours of your original appointment time.  You must give 24 hour notice of your original appointment time to avoid any charges.  There are no exceptions, we have a no tolerance policy towards this.  We do pay a medical technician for your time and reserved a room for that time period.  This is our only control factor to maintain our low price structures which we offer.  Our goal is to not raise prices on everyone for a few customers that no show appointments or cancel without proper notice.  Without this policy in place our internal expenses would rise and then we would have to increase prices for everyone.  Our business model and aggressive price structure simply can’t afford to not charge this fee.  Please be considerate of our time and we will in return be considerate of your time and provide you with excellent aesthetic treatments.   Please do not ask us to make exceptions to our policy and our staff has no ability to waive any fees.

Refunds:

Pre-paid treatments are non-refundable/non-transferrable and have no cash value. If an office relocates, there are no refunds; treatments must be continued at any of our other existing locations.
