River Terrace Resort and Convention Center

Went to Gatlinburg for a birthday trip. the hotel and staff were excellent, and being right on the river made for peaceful balcony seating during the day. It is also located right in the middle of Gatlinburg, If you enjoy a nice stroll through the city it is in the perfect place to walk around town and see all that it has to offer.

We just wanted a quick trip to the Gatlinburg area. We went up one day , spent the night and came home. Quality Inn served our needs for that one night. This would also be a place we would stay for longer. The room was very roomy and had the possibility to be adjoining for a larger family. Too cool to swim. The hot tub would have been fun!

We use this as our base in Gatlinburg. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the main street but for enough that you won't hear the noise. The room is comfortable and the breakfast is adequate. For the price we paid, it represent a good value. Also, this is our first time in Gatlinburg, we loved this town.

The staff was nice, the rooms were nice and in a great location! There were a couple things that could use attention. One being there is no comforters on the beds, only a sheet and a fancy sheet. Two, the "heated pool" didn't seem heated at all as it is in the basement and the cold air return definitely made it less than enjoyable, too bad there wasn't a hot tub. Third, the elevator did not go to the basement which didn't affect us but would if we were older or handicap. Overall it was a good experience and we would consider staying again.
