These videos were seen by the record company executive Scooter Braun, who flew Bieber to Atlanta to meet and perform in front of Usher. Eventually, he was signed to Island Records. Bieber moved to Atlanta with his mother, so that Justin could work more closely with Usher and Braun.

The track reached number on in Canada and also experienced global success. 'One Time' was followed by the release of singles such as 'One Less Lonely Girl', 'Love Me' and 'Favourite Girl'.
During a promotional tour, Justin Bieber was due to appear at a shopping mall in Long Island, but the visit had to be cancelled when an unexpected crowd of over 3,000 turned up and threatened to breach safety restrictions. A number of Bieber's fans suffered minor injuries n the foray that ensued. The vice-president of Island Records was arrested over the incident, as he was reported to have disadvantaged the police's crowd control efforts. Similarly, Scooter Braun was charged with reckless endangerment and criminal nuisance in relation to the event.
At the Christmas in Washington event, Justin Bieber performed for the US President, Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama. He sang 'Someday at Christmas', by Stevie Wonder. A few weeks later, Justin Bieber was one of the guests on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, along with The Black Eyed Peas and Jennifer Lopez. Bieber was also chosen as a presenter at the 52nd Grammy Awards.
Bieber was also asked to perform on the re-recording of 'We Are the World', which was sold to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquake. Among the huge number of artists on the recording were Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, Akon, T-Pain, Kanye West and Miley Cyrus.
Justin Bieber's track 'Baby', released in early 2010, features the hip-hop artist Ludacris. In April of that year, Bieber was a guest on Saturday Night Live and was the subject of a comedy skit featuring himself and regular Saturday Night Live comedian Tina Fey.
He released a follow-up to 'My World' entitled 'My World 2.0' in 2010 which top the charts in several countries including the US and Canada. He promoted the release with appearances on 'The View', the 2010 'Kids Choice Awards' and 'The Late Show with David Letterman' among others. Later that year he was a musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live' and he also went on his first headline tour 'the My World Tour'. He achieved rather negative fame when it was revealed that one of Justin Bieber's music videos, 'Baby', had become the most viewed video on YouTube as well as the most hated.
Bieber made his second foray into acting with a role in 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' in a 2010 and 2011 episode. 2011 also saw him star in his own biopic movie 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' directed by Jon Chu. It topped the box office with a $12.4 million gross on its opening and he subsequently released a remix album entitled 'Never Say Never - The Remixes'. That year he released second studio album 'Under the Mistletoe' which again hit number one in the US and Canada.
He started recording his most highly lauded album yet, 'Believe', at the end of 2011 and in 2012 announced on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' that the first single was ' Boyfriend '. It was his first number one hit in Canada and reached number two in the US and UK on its release. 'Believe' itself became a number one in several countries and included collaborations with Darkchild, Hit-Boy, Diplo and Max Martin. He followed it up with his Believe Tour.
In 2013, he released an acoustic version of 'Believe' entitled simply ' Believe Acoustic', and later appeared once again on 'Saturday Night Live'. During his Believe Tour, he collapsed with apparent breathing problems at London's O2 Arena when he was backstage and was rushed to hospital. Another issue arose in London when he arrived 2 hours late for a concert, leaving parents angry and fans extremely upset.
2013 also saw him appear in a remixed version of Michael Jackson's unreleased track 'Slave To The Rhythm', as well as collaborating with Lil Twist and Miley Cyrus in Twist's song 'Twerk'. In October, he began his 'Music Mondays' project, releasing a single every week in the run up to his second movie 'Believe 3D'. 'Heartbreaker' was the first track to be released in this series and all ten were announced to feature in a collection called 'Journals'.

In the same year he released his fourth studio album Purpose with the lead single what do you mean? which was his first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100. Bieber is the youngest male artist to debut at the top of the chart earning him a Guinness World record. A further two singles Sorry and Love Yourself were also released from the album and gained the number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 meaning that he was the first male artist to have three number one singles from one album in over a decade. Company is Bieber's fourth single release from this album.
Purpose also debuted at number one in the Billboard 200 and becomes his sixth number one album in the chart.
In 2016, Bieber made a cameo appearance in 'Zoolander No. 2'.
Personal Life: Justin Bieber is a Christian and has previously said that he doesn't believe in abortion and has supported LGBT rights campaigns. His mentor Usher suggested Bieber follow a vegan diet after vomiting on stage in 2012 when he drank milk. He dated Selena Gomez from 2010 to 2012. They briefly re-united but broke up again in 2013.
In 2013, he was attacked by a man in a Toronto nightclub. Security stepped in by Bieber lost his temper and proceeded to launch an angry attack on the man as he was taken to the ground. This is not the only violent scandal Bieber has been involved with; he was caught on camera shouting and attempting to launch himself at a photographer outside his hotel in London that same year. He had also allegedly spat at one of his neighbours following an argument.
Other controversies include the star getting pulled over in San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles in 2012, after speeding at more than 100 miles an hour in an apparent bid to lose paparazzi tailing him. He has repeatedly caused anger among his neighbours for his reckless driving. In 2013, a paparazzo named Chris Guerra was run over and killed after attempting to snap Bieber in his Ferrari, however it was not Bieber driving it at that time. He also caused some serious annoyance among fans when he was photographed smoking a joint. He later apologised and even made a joke out of it when he hosted 'Saturday Night Live'.
Bieber had a pet capuchin monkey named Mally confiscated at a German airport when he arrived to play some shows. He caused controversy after apparently abandoning it, leaving it to be re-homed somewhere else. Also in Germany, he visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam and caused outrage when he wrote in the guest book, 'Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.'
In 2014 Bieber was arrested in Miami Beach for suspected driving under the influence of alcohol (DUI), driving with an expired license (over sixth months) and resisting arrest. He stated that he had been smoking cannabis and taking prescription drugs. He was released on the grounds of there being a lack of evidence to support his arrest.

Biography by Contactmusic.com
Just over a year after getting married in a New York City courthouse, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin finally celebrated with a second, star-studded wedding, and their venue of choice was the stunning Montage Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina.
The sprawling resort is nestled along the May River between Savannah and Hilton Head, and offers plenty of space for a weekend of secluded celebrating. Spread out over 20,000 acres are a marina, several restaurants, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, individual cottages and homes, and an inn with guest rooms and suites. There are also two on-site churches.
According to reports, the couple opted for the Somerset Chapel to exchange their vows, which features beautiful arched windows that let the perfect light flood in all day. The space seats 185, but the pair kept it more intimate by having only 154 guests in attendance, including Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, model Joan Smalls, and Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun.
Before the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails in the lobby lounge of the inn; afterward, they made their way over to the Wilson Ballroom for the reception. The 7,000-square-foot space looks out on the grand lawn, and the Biebers, (with the help of celebrity party planner Mindy Weiss), outfitted the space with candles, white tablecloths, and cream-colored shrubbery.
The newlyweds made use of the entire property by hosting an on-site rehearsal dinner at the Moreland Landing venue, which was built in 2003 by sculptor and craftsman Wayne Edwards. It’s here that they enjoyed an oyster roast with guests before bowling at the Boundary, which features a four-lane alley and a game room with pool tables, a foosball and a shuffleboard table, board games, and more.
Bieber has released just a couple of photos so far from the big day: two from a photo booth kissing his wife and one of a watch he bought himself as a wedding gift.
Justin Bieber announces 2016 ‘Purpose’ world tour
With his days of egg-pelting his neighbors, driving too fat, pet-monkey abandonment and urinating in public apparently behind him, Justin Bieber is ready to launch his first major North American tour since 2013.
The Canadian teen-pop vocal star will kick off his 2016 “Purpose” tour March 9 in Seattle. The tour, which concludes July 18 in New York City, will include six California concerts, including a March 29 date at San Diego’s Valley View Casino Center (formerly the San Diego Sports Arena). Bieber’s last area appearance was in 2013 at the same venue and was reviewed by the San Diego Union-Tribune, which praised his improved drumming skills.
All of the tour dates appear below, along with the ticket prices and on-sale date for his San Diego show and other stops on the tour.
Bieber announced his 2016 concert trek during the Wednesday morning telecast of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Ellen.” The tour is timed to promote his new album, “Purpose,” which will be released Friday.
However, in an unusual promotion, from Thursday through Nov. 19, Lyft users will be able to buy the album for $5 by “sliding into Bieber mode.” But first, they have to take a $5 ride with Lyft (one of Uber’s biggest competitors). Upon the completion of the ride, they’ll get a link for a “Purpose” download and a $5 credit for their next ride.
Considering that Lyft requires passengers to be at least 18 to ride in a a Lyft vehicle on their own, and given that many Bieber fans have yet to complete high school, it remains to be seen how successful this promotion will be in boosting sales of his new album.
It also remains to be seen if Bieber will be less temperamental than at his Oct. 29 show in Oslo, Norway, where he abruptly ended his performance after one song, after concertgoers apparently got in his way when he tried to wipe up a liquid on the stage. Bieber later wrote on Instagram, that he “chose to end the show as the people in the front row would not listen.”
Those people also grabbed a towel Bieber was using to mop up an unidentified liquid on the stage, a move that raised his ire.
“Hey, wait! What are you doing? Yo, yo, yo! What are you doing? Come on! I said stop it. Yo, what are you doing? Guys! Yo, listen to me! Are you listening? OK! I’m trying to wipe the floor. Give me a second, yo,” Bieber told the Oslo audience. “Guys, never mind. I’m done. I’m not doing the show. I’m not doing the show.”
Tickets for Bieber’s hopefully liquid-free stage March 29 San Diego concert are priced at $50.59 to $116 each, plus service charges. Tickets go on sale Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. online at the Vallew View Casino Center box office, online at axs.com, by phone at (855) 411-4849. A pre-sale for American Express card members begins at noon Monday and runs through 10 p.m. Nov. 19.
